Mark Steines: ‘CSI’ is back tonight, But Jann Carl has the shots you will not see on the show and I am not kidding. This is what happens when ET’s on the set
Jann: That’s right Mark. I’m on the set of ‘CSI’ and you want secrets? I got ‘em.
(Marg and Billy kissing behind Jann)
Jann: Check that out. WOW! Well it doesn’t get much better than that.
Jann: Secret #1 – Marg and Billy aren’t really lovers on the show, but they do like to have fun with us.
Marg: I have these ET cameras in my face. What’s going on here?
Marg: You weren’t supposed to see that! (referring to the kiss) Jann, what are you doing here?!
Jann: This is really a family, right?
Billy: Dysfunctional family. It’s a family in need of therapy.
Jann: You really love each other.
Marg and Billy: We do, Yeah we do
Jann: Secret #2 – The entire cast is back together as one team after spending last season split apart into different shifts.
Jann: Does it feel different for you that you’re all back together?
Marg: It feels really good. It was a bit of ah, it was melancholy feeling when we weren’t all together.
Jann: Secrete #3 The premiere episode, airing tonight on CBS, finds the team not on the glamorous Las Vegas strip but in a trailer park.
Marg: Hey, you know, only the best for you, Jann.
Jann: I know, but it is Vegas.
Jann: This is ‘CSI,’ so there will be dead bodies inside that rubble.
Jann: Flames, helicopters decomposed bodies. Just another typical day on the ‘CSI’ set.
Eric: Yeah, absolutely.
Jann: Secret #4 There is trouble ahead for Grissom in the form of a new boss. She’s a cop and she’s a female.
Billy: It’s tough to get bossed around by female cops. It’s bad enough getting bossed around but the CSI girls…
Marg: We don’t really boss you around.
Billy: You do a little bit.
Jann: There are other changes in store for the cast. Secret# 5 has Warrick getting married
Gary: I got a wedding ring now. So I can vicariously live through my character being married, without having been married myself. It’s kind of cool
Jann: Is there a plan in any sense?
(Marg is laughing)
Jann: Stop it.
Marg: I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I think we have just always flown by the seat of our pants on this show.
Jann: And that’s a big secret! (points back to Marg and Billy kissing and waving the cameras away)
Jann: Now you would think that Marg would want to relax during her summer break. But no. She traded her down time for a lot of downward dog. Marg went to yoga camp. That’s six hours a day of yoga!
