ACCESS HOLLYWOOD – MARG ON WORKING WITH JERRY BRUCKHEIMER (TRANSCRIPT)
December 12, 2013
You know Jerry’s the first producer to reviece this award tonight.
Marg: Oh, I didn’t know that.
You didn’t know that?
Marg: Uh uh.
Yeah. First producer to receive this award tonight, so that’s like, huge. He’s behind a lot of great films, Armageddon and Bad Boys. You worked with him on CSI. What do you love?
Marg: Armageddon. And Bad Boys, actually.
Yeah?! So both those two projects…What do you love so much about working with him?
Marg: Well, you know, Jerry has…brings so much to the table. I mean, he’s obviously very smart. But he brings so much style and class. And he has just a vision, such a vision for all of his projects. And he loves to entertain people. I think he, every project he puts his name onto, he…it always pops. It’s always entertaining. It’s always visually stunning and people love ’em. People love his films and his TV shows.
Do you have a favorite Jerry moment or memory working with him?
Marg: Well, the thing about Jerry is that he’s a man of few words, right? So he always just has a…in general it’s just his quiet elegance that I’m so fond of. But I think when he steps up to the plate, he kind of lets people, the thing is, he puts the right people in, in all the various departments. And he lets people do their thing and then when he feels that he needs to step in, he steps in. He’s just really, like I said, he’s got a quiet elegance which I admire and respect.
And the holidays are coming up. Do you have any Christmas plans? Or New Years plans?
Marg: Well, I’m actually traveling on Christmas day and New Years Eve (Marg laughs). But I will be, in between those two times, I’ll be in St. Barths.
Any New Years resolutions?
Marg: You know, I make them, then I don’t stick to them. So every year it’s the same old thing. I always say, you know ,just to lighten up, you know. Just don’t take things too seriously. And I think, over the years, I have accomplished that over the years.
